Hello,
This is a cool site. I'm glad to see someone keeping GCS going. I still have my large white notebook manual and GCS 3.09 (I believe).
I made a game with GCS called "Wild West Goldhunter." The original site I posted it to says "file not found" but I possibly found it here...
Of course, I don't know if this is trustworthy
I recently tried to reinstall GCS but haven't got it to run on Windows 8.1.
Are there any patches available?

Hey cool, a developer from the GCS 3.x era.
Unfortunately there are no real patches for running on later versions of Windows that I am aware of.
I did talk to Kevin Stokes about releasing the source code for the GCS, but he was not able to compile it so decided against it.
I will have to add your game to my wiki.

I've played your game many times. Great to see you still around. The engine pretty much requires some sort of virtual machine to an older OS these days.

Spikerama, It’s always good to see old gcs’rs poping up from time to time. I’m glad you found us.
