Hey everyone!
It's been a while since I was active here and I'm really glad to see the forum is still up and running. I've switched jobs a few years back and didn't have time for anything, despite the recent event that's been going around.
How is everybody doing? Any plans for projects with the good ol' GCS for 2022? Will we finally get the pro version of the DOS GCS from Kevin Stokes? Who knows...
Just recently I've been going back to the DOS GCS, but unfortunately I've had a bit of data loss happening (despite numerous backups) and I've lost my GCS DOS games archive and the projects I've been working on. I'm trying to rebuild my games collection, but I'm still missing a bunch of titles. I remember sending my archive to a few people and maybe someone can help me out and upload it somewhere again.
As for my lost GCS projects, there's not much I can do, but I've already started something new and I hope to be able to finish something this time. Got a lot of questions and ideas coming.
Just wanted to drop in and say hi again!

Mystery, Sorry to hear about your loss it's almost traumatic to invest yourself and create something for it to disappear Into Thin Air. I know the feeling. On another note do to your research and that paper trail you left that directed me toward places where I found downloadable games not everything on the list, but in the last year I did find some titles I had never played before thanks to your notes you left here.. On another note super excited to see where this path leads us. I read through this forum like a Bible the other year when I discovered it.. I had GCS fever bad, you possess quite a bit of knowledge not only with the g c s, but technology. Good to have you with us. Aspirations... I want to complete my windows version 1.3 project Castle Death Race. As well I want to get Hall of first person games on youtube to do play through videos of deadly technology and Castle Death Race. He has the subscribers and audience, in his comments some identify themselves as prior users of the g c s. So if we throw a link to download our game on his play through video of it, some old friends just might find and join us. And if I do complete my current project although it's tempting to jump on to Windows engine version 3, I would totally love to tear up the old dos engine one more time. I was a young kid when I got that and other than being a healthy Hobby, I grew that GCS muscle and got pretty good with it.. one thing I wish dos GCS engine had was the ability to look up and down otherwise it's hard to appreciate tall levels and architecture. Long story short awesome reading you bro, welcome back

Hey, someone is still here, that's great! We must be the smallest community on the internet, the last bastion of GCS enthusiasts I'll try to rebuild and improve the GCS games database and I've also got some other things in mind...I just need to have some more free time for that.
